Salesforce Dreamforce, is a leading tech event celebrating customers, partners, and innovation held in San Francisco, with over 40,000 attendees. In 2025, Meta participated as an Innovator Sponsor, with a 30x30 booth and a 10x20 shipping container on Howard Street, both designed and produced by Hit Play.
The Meta team provided us with a unique challenge — to bring equal parts Meta and WhatsApp brands into the space, while still appearing as one continuous brand experience. With challenge expected, the environment took on a clean, modern look, leaning into lighting as our main source for adding a brand color pop.
For three days, the space was home to a mini theater, with 20 min content sessions on the hour, branded popcorn to enjoy while visiting the theater and two custom interactive touchscreens. Hit Play designed a bespoke set of case study interactives for both the Meta Conversions API and WhatsApp Business Messaging sides of the house. As part of the WhatsApp case study flow, attendees were guided through a 2nd screen WA bot experience as well, which highlighted the capabilities for businesses using the app.
In the container, we continued the WA bot experience with a WhatsApp Marketplace, where attendees could “shop” for swag through the WhatsApp Business Messaging showcase.
Over the course of the show the team captured over 5,000 unique leads, 6,500 chatbot interactions and kept attendees engaged in the booth for an average dwell time of 27 minutes each.
